Maintenance Dredging (Per Norfolk Dredging):

The Dredge Essex has completed work in the Marcus Hook Anchorage and will be shifting to New Castle Range in the next few days. Currently the Dredge Essex, 2 equipment barges, fuel barge and some pipeline are anchored in the south east corner of the anchorage. We also have shifted one of our equipment barges and some submerged pipeline to New Castle Range just east of the New Castle Range anchorage. We anticipate installing the submerged pipeline across the channel this weekend and will discuss with the USCG before doing so. Please contact Bryan Miller if you should have any questions.
Attached is the plot showing the Dredge Essex’s estimated position for its current location at the Marcus Hook Anchorage. Also attached it the plot showing the location of the pipes and equipment that have already been taken down to the New Castle Range job site.
