PA - NJ – DELAWARE RIVER – PHILADELPHIA – DELAWARE RIVER WATERFRONT CORPORATION NEW YEAR’S EVE & DAY FIREWORKS - SAFETY ZONE

Three aerial fireworks displays are scheduled to occur on the Delaware River adjacent to Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia, PA, on December 31, 2021, and January 1, 2022. A safety zone will be in effect for the duration of each display to include all navigable waters with a 500 yard radius of the fireworks barge located at approximate position latitude 39°56’50”N., longitude 75°08’12”W. Safety zone enforcement times are:

1 December 31st 5:45pm – 6:30pm

2 December 31st to January 1st 11:45pm – 12:30am

3 January 1st 5:45pm – 6:30pm

Vessels may not enter, remain in, or transit through the safety zone during the enforcement period unless authorized by the Captain of the Port or official on-scene patrol. Mariners may contact official patrol on-scene via marine band radio VHF-FM channel 16.
